What an incredible trip! And I am smiling ear to ear reading about your day in Naples!!! I am so happy you explored the city that so many overlook. Isn’t Luigi the best? His shoemaker even more!! An older gentleman in the Spanish quarters that supposedly used to make shoes for even Prada. I love that skirt so much and I can’t wait to see what jewelry you got! I wear my two necklaces EVERYday. Such a fun colorful pop that always reminds me of the Mediterranean lifestyle.

All your recommendations are flawless! You're living my expat dream :)

I spotted the shoes at Happy Vintage in the morning and am kicking myself for not pulling the trigger. (I hadn't yet pulled up your guide and made the Luigi connection at that point.) I'm wearing a combo of the necklaces everyday — my daughter is obsessed — so you'll see them in any forthcoming outfit posts!

Now I'm digging my way through your Rome-related articles :) We're leaving next Saturday and will be there for a week with my girls (3 and 6) and in-laws before we head to Lucca for the following week. Please DM me if you have any specific recs!

And I remember my first time to Naples, too. I was also 22 or 23 and was pretty much shaking in my shoes venturing into the Spanish quarters, but at the same time SO intrigued and excited and thrilled to explore a neighborhood that was/still is full of so much history, contradiction and destruction!

I love that you had a similar experience! It was so cool to return, and I have a feeling it won't be the last.

Sounds like you really made the most of a short itinerary! Definitely agree with sneaking in that morning in Venice. And your outfits are so chic!

Squeezing in Venice was such a thrill! We were pretty much the first people off the ship and the last ones back on :) I don't think I could travel like that again (unless it was paid for, ha!) because I love to linger and soak up a destination.
